Are the storage containers secure?

All stores are supplied with twin (top and bottom) door locks that are officially approved by UK Locksmiths Association and are both anti-snap and anti-pick giving a high level of protection against theft. A spare set of keys is also included with each store.

Do the containers come with a warranty?

All sportsequip.store storage containers come with a 10 year guarantee against main bodywork and structure corrosion on all models.

What sizes are the containers available in?

The containers come in 2m, 3m and 4m lengths, these containers are also fully modular. Using steel linking kits you can easily link together multiple units for an even greater capacity.

What are the dimensions of the storage containers?

Are there any internal shelves available?

Yes there is, you can increase your storage capabilities with easy-to-install bunded shelves. There are two shelf lengths available, 1m or 1.9m. These shelves must be bought in conjunction with shelf arms and uprights.

How will the container be delivered?

All containers are delivered flat-packed free of charge and can be positioned anywhere on your property thanks to SafeDrop™ offload service (provided forklift access is possible).

Do I need any planning permission to install the container?

All the containers arrive flat packed and can be disassembled and reassembled if required. The portable and temporary nature should be enough to classify them as temporary structures in most cases. However, the area in which the container is due to be located and its intended usage may still mean that planning permission is required. It is therefore important to check with your local authority whether planning permission is required or not.

Are the containers easy to move?

8 integrated easy-carry handles are located at the base (2 on each corner) for easy transport on foot. Larger integrated forklift pockets of 194mm x 70mm at 850mm centres for easy transportation and unloading. A minimum of 4 people are required to move the container into place once it is built.

Where can I put my storage container?

We recommend that all storage containers be located away from large trees and not in close proximity to power lines or phone cables. Make sure that there is enough room around the container and that the door can open freely and be away from any obstructions.

On what surface can I put one of these storage containers?

All sportsequip.store storage containers must be built on level and firm ground, ideally with a slab or concrete base large enough for the unit to sit on.

Is there a ramp available to roll items in on wheels?

Yes there are two foldable aluminium ramps available in 1m and 1.5m lengths. Both ramps are 800mm wide, can take a weight of up to 500kgs and come with an all weather anti-slip surface.

How long will it take for the container to arrive?

Standard delivery time is between 7 to 15 working days from receipt of order. However sometimes extenuating circumstances can lead to a delay in delivery.

Are these containers available with Football Foundation grant funding?

Yes, Football Foundation funding is available for these containers. When applying for funding you must check with your local authority and either receive planning permission, or be provided with written consent that planning permission isn't required (usually via a lawful development certificate). Funding for any successful application won't be released by the Football Foundation until this evidence is provided. Any permission given by the local authority must be for a minimum of 5 years.
