Scoring a game of cricket using your handheld controller has never been easier. Our user interface has been designed with simplicity in mind, meaning you could hand it to anyone and they will know exactly what to do. 

We offer two variations of cricket controllers, both offering different levels of detail on the scoreboard. The 9 Digit Scoreboard focuses on all the necessary information required to score a cricket game, whereas the more detailed scoreboards can go into depth on batter scores, DLS Par and more.

Scoring on a 9 Digit Cricket Scoreboard Controller

Changing the total score can be done using the 4 buttons along the top row of the controller. +1, +4 & +6 buttons are there to conveniently add to the score when you are following along with the innings. In case you make a mistake, the -1 button is there to use too.

Should a wicket fall, simply press the +1 next to the ‘Wickets’ heading, and you are done. If you go too far then you can -1 too. The same applies for overs too. 
Once you get to the end of the first innings you can set the ‘To Win’. To do this press and hold FN & ‘2nd’; this will reset the total, wickets, and overs back to 0, and the ‘To Win’ will be set. You can continue the score the 2nd innings exactly how you did the first.

At the end of the game, you can reset the scoreboard by pressing the FN + Reset buttons together.

Scoring on a Detailed Cricket Controller

With the detailed cricket controller, you will notice the controller is split into different sections. Along the top you have buttons to adjust the total score (ideal for extras). In the middle you have two blocks, one for each batter. These allow you to adjust their scores as you go. Below this there are individual buttons for the Wickets & Overs.

As batter’s score runs throughout the game you can increase their individual scores by using the +1, +4, +6 buttons in each batter’s block. By pressing these you will also add to the total score on the scoreboard. Should you make a mistake -1 is available for both batters. If a batter was to get out, press the OUT button in their block; this will reset their score to 0, add 1 to wickets and allow you to increase the batter number again should you need to.

When adding extras use the buttons along the top row to add to the total score.

To adjust the overs, use the +1 & -1 buttons next to the ‘Overs’ heading. These will do exactly as the buttons say by adding and subtracting from the total overs.

Once you get to the end of the first innings you can set the ‘To Win’. To do this press and hold FN & ‘2nd’; this will reset the total, wickets, and overs back to 0, and the ‘To Win’ will be set. You can continue the score the 2nd innings exactly how you did the first.

At the end of the game, you can reset the scoreboard by pressing the FN + Reset buttons together.

22 and 23 Digit Cricket Scoreboards ONLY

To set the batter number on the scoreboard press the corresponding No. button on the controller. This will increase the batter number by 1, continue to do this until you reach the desired number. If you go past 11 it will reset to 0. This button does not work on a 15 Digit Cricket Scoreboard as there is no batter number.

22 Digit Cricket Scoreboards ONLY

DLS will not populate unless you are connected to PlayCricket through a Tablet/Smartphone or Laptop.
